A deeply personal achievement

Hello Oncer,
Another week, another release. But before we dive into the details, I want to express how grateful I am to have you in the Design Engineers Club! For the past couple of years, I've been on a journey to find my place. I built products, offered services, and posted on social media, yet something still felt missing. It wasn’t about the numbers—it was about finding a sense of belonging.
Founding the club has been a true turning point. It’s allowed me to connect with incredibly creative people like you every day. And, even more, it’s shown me there are many of us on this path—stepping away from the noise of social media and building something meaningful.

Working on Once UI, an open-source software, is truly a blessing for us. We’re doing what we love and making it better every day.
Building open-source not only fuels our passion but also helps us gain momentum and presence. We can feel the impact of what we’re creating—the growing community, the interest, and the feedback all make it clear that we’re onto something special here.
But open-source has its challenges. It means free, and as I’ve mentioned before, we’re not looking to create a Pro version and call it a day. Once UI must stay open and accessible to everyone. That’s why we’re exploring other ways to support our work. Enroll will hopefully help, but it’s a niche product. So we wanted something more tangible, more practical.

Introducing our merch store, where you can find T-shirts, hoodies, epic desk mats, and prints featuring designs from the Design Engineers Club and the Journal of the Universe, one of my past projects.
It’s the perfect way to support us on this mission: not only do you help us with a bit of cash, but your purchase also provides encouragement, and you get something nice in return! We’ve spent a long time preparing the designs and testing the print and product quality, and we’re absolutely thrilled with the results!
I can’t thank you enough for being here, Oncer.
Best,Lorant

p.s. Don’t hesitate to reach out if you’d like to chat. Discord, LinkedIn and Threads are the platforms I currently use. You can start with something simple… for example, where did you hear about us? :)
