Once UI for Next.js + Free Figma version
We’ve been cooking up something special, and be careful... It’s HOT!
Hello Oncer,
It’s been a while, but creators understand this struggle. You either create or share, but never have time for both. Anyway, we’ve been cooking up something special, and be careful… It’s HOT!

When I started my career and built my first design system, I was beyond excited. It took a lot of iterations, learning, and six months of work to launch it internally. In the next job, I did it again, and then again at the following job… And no matter which company I worked for, 80% of the design system was the same.
When I went freelance, I set out to create a design system that’s powerful enough to cover 80% of the needs of any project, and constrained enough to ensure any combination of settings results in beautiful and functional (responsive, accessible) interfaces.

Last year, I launched Once UI for Figma, and today we’ve not only released the most comprehensive free version of it, but we’ve also launched a starter template for Next.js —complementing the Figma library.
Learn more about it on once-ui.com, or clone the repo right away from GitHub! Please, while you’re at it, don’t forget to leave a star for us—it’s incredibly important for an open-source project like Once UI!
Check out this short demo where I use it to build a simple UI from scratch.

It’s been a wild ride, but the best is yet to come. Stay tuned, because we’ll be adding new customization options, components, and we’re already working on some top secret features I can’t yet talk about!
Best,Lorant
