Vienna. Figma Community. Castle drawings.
Arriving to a milestone with our design resources.
Hello Oncer,
I recently moved to Vienna from Budapest with my girlfriend. Days are flying by as new boxes keep appearing, needing to be unpacked and carefully organized. Fortunately, this is happening less frequently now, so we hope to relax a bit and maybe take some time to explore this beautiful country.
Aside from that, I’m making minor updates each day on the projects I work on, reminding myself that it’s not a sprint but a marathon. Interest and engagement around Once UI continue to grow, and I know that as this project gains momentum, it will become unstoppable.
Our previous version was selected for the “Design System” collection of the Figma Community, which gave us a significant boost. Why were we curated? We have no clue. The Figma Community is like the wild west; nobody really knows the rules of the game. We waited almost a year to get a seller invite and experienced very low initial traction.

Since then, we’ve surpassed the $1,000 milestone, for which we are grateful. I’ve added a few new resources to my profile. If you’re job hunting, I recommend the Magic Portfolio Pro ($8). If you’re looking for the ultimate token system, the Once UI Token System ($6) is an excellent companion, and if you need the most comprehensive design system, the Once UI Design System ($160) will serve you well.
I often close my emails with something creative I’ve been working on, not necessarily related to design but closer to real-life practice or art. I could send photos of an IKEA bed, curtains, or lamps, but that’s not very interesting. A few days ago, I stumbled upon a drawing video that inspired me a lot, so I’ll leave it here, hoping it might spark something in you as well:

Next time, I hope to share some drawings of my own. Until then, stay awesome!
Best,Lorant
